Our team at The Skeff Late Bar & Kitchen are proud to have helped play our part alongside numerous local charities, societies and clubs to help raise €10,000 since October 2018. A handful of the charities that benefited from the proceeds raised were: ACT for Meningitis, Croi, Rosabel’s Rooms, Cope, Cancer Care West and Western Alzheimers.
We have enjoyed helping people raise money and awareness for their selected charity or society via their monthly fundraising table quizzes, which have proven incredibly popular over the past couple of months. Some of the themed quizzes we have helped organise have included: Game of Thrones, Friends, 80’s and 90’s Trivia and Father Ted. Our events team have also run numerous fundraising events, such as: the stylish Racing for Rosabel in aid of Rosabel’s Rooms and Coffee Morning in aid of Variety Children’s Charity, to name just a few.
In the past twelve months, we have also been delighted to extend our sponsorship umbrella to local societies, such as Galway Musical Society (GMS) and Galway University Musical Society (GUMS) and to sports teams, such as: Galwegian’s Women’s Rugby, Titans Basketball, Clarenbridge GAA and Connacht Rugby to name a few.
Giving back to the community and supporting local efforts for those in need has been, and will remain, a great focus for our team. Having been involved in helping Cope with their Christmas Wish List and annual Christmas Lunch Appeal last year, we look forward to showing support again this year during the festive season.
