The Skeff Mixologist Wins At Cocktails
The Jameson Sine Metu Bar Battle was held on 10th May 2017 here at The Late Skeff Bar in Galway.
Bar staff came from all over the city and county to participate in the Galway finals in an attempt to earn the opportunity to proceed to the national finals. A crowd of supporters and onlookers cheered the competitors on and feasted their eyes on the gorgeous creations produced by the mixology experts.

There were various categories for the participants to get stuck into. One such category was cocktail making and our own star mixologist Jonathan Callaghan took the overall accolade, which is no surprise to us, of course!
Speaking after the event Jonathan told the Skeff Blogger: “I am very competitive and enter quite a few cocktail competitions every year, in fact I’m just back from Cuba after winning the regional finals of another competition. I’m thrilled to win the Galway Finals in the Jameson Sine Metu Bar Battle on behalf of everyone at The Skeff.”
We will be rooting for you all the way in the national finals Jonathan. Well done!
